Information on becoming a referral organisation to our services
We are always welcoming organisations to expressing an interest in becoming a referral organisation to The Regency Training Foundation and the work we do with disadvantaged adults and young people.
We are a voluntary organisation working in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and London.
Our beneficiaries are; people with physical and sensory disability, mental health challenges, lone parents, carers, young carers, long term unemployed, lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgendered, ethnic minorities and the over 60's.
We deliver short self development training courses run over a period of 6 weeks and covering modules in confidence building, communication skills, anger management, time and money management, laughter therapy and holistic stress busting.
The times are 11am-3pm with a half an hour lunch break, each workshop runs once a week and is delivered by skilled, experienced and qualified trainers.
We also provide information and advice on moving forward in life with challenges and we work with the principal of what an individual can do now? and empower them to take control of their own futures.
As a not for profit organisation our survival is based on funding opportunities and working closely in partnership with groups such as your self, for us to continue in being succesful with bids we ask all referral groups to donate in kind contributions to our projects, these would include; venue space, admin costs, refreshments, lunch, transportation to and from venue for clients and volunteers to help with delivery of our service.
We ask referral groups to support our projects with a letter of support and evidence of need highlighting the demand for our service with your beneficiaries.
I look forward to working with you in the near future and developing a close working partnership with your organisation and your client groups.
